Training & Support
As expected from a business whose job is training others, ProgressiveSports takes the responsibility of training its franchisees extremely seriously.
The Franchisee Training Programme consists of the following four important elements:
- Business Training
This first stage of the training will cover all aspects of establishing the Progressive Sports business.
Training will cover setting up the "home office", company accounts, VAT registration, relevant legislation, reporting to the franchisor, payments and ongoing financial controls.
- Progressive Sports Training
This second stage of training is designed to provide a full understanding of all the Progressive Sports services and processes, managing the coaches, building relationships with local partners, together with the opportunities for grants and funding. In-depth instruction will also be provided about all the Progressive Sports sales, operational and administrative systems.
- Training Workshops
Soon after starting their business, franchisees will have the opportunity to attend two externally run Training Workshops of their choice - for example, Dodge Ball and SAQ (Speed, Agility and Quickness) - in order to widen their experience and increase credibility with their customers.
- Local Support
For two additional days each franchisee will have the benefit of having a Senior Manager working with them at their own business location, providing practical help and guidance.
- Continuing Support from the Franchisor
Apart from the above, Progressive Sports Senior Management are committed to visiting each franchise territory on a regular basis and franchisees will have access to ongoing assistance via telephone and email Helplines.
